A page or link is not working
Check the address, reload, try another browser, and check your connection; report anything that stays broken through the contact page.
If the Wrong Train website or a page in this help center will not load, or a link leads nowhere, first check the address, reload, and check your connection. The steps below are safe to try in any order. If the problem stays, you can report it.
Check these first
- Check the address. Look for a missing or extra character. Addresses in this help center end in a slash, for example
support.wrongtrain.com/articles/what-can-i-use-today/. A page that says it could not be found (sometimes shown as error 404) can mean the address is slightly wrong. The Wrong Train website at wrongtrain.com is a single page, so other addresses there, such as wrongtrain.com/contact, show a not-found page. Use this help center's contact page instead. - Reload the page. A page that stopped partway may load fully on a second try.
- Try again later. A problem on the website's side can be brief.
- Try another browser, or allow scripts for this help center only. In this help center, only search needs JavaScript. You do not need to turn anything off to read an article, so if search does nothing you can still browse all articles. On the landing page, the "Separate the layers" demo also needs JavaScript.
- Check your connection. If other websites also fail to load, the problem is more likely the network than the page.
On the landing page, the Request an invite link opens your own email app with a draft. If nothing happens when you select it, your device may not have an email app set up. Requesting access explains that link in more detail.
Passwords
Neither wrongtrain.com nor this help center has a sign-in, so neither one asks for a password. If a page that looks like either one asks for a password or any other sign-in detail, do not enter it. You can report that page through the security section of the contact page.
Report a problem
If a page or link still does not work, report it through the website problems section of the contact page. A useful report includes:
- The address of the page, copied from your browser's address bar.
- What you expected, and what happened instead. For example: "I selected the link to the website privacy policy and saw a page that said it could not be found."
- If you like, your browser and device, such as "a current version of Firefox on a laptop".
- If you like, a screenshot. Crop or cover anything personal before you attach it.
Please do not send passwords, access tokens, private records, personal information about other people, or details of your own situation. A website problem can be looked into without any of these.
